The tall and well built actor with pinch hitter credibility in Celebrity Cricket League JK – Jayaram Karthik has moved to Tamil cinema and come November he will be working in a big banner in Hindi cinema. He is also adjusting his dates for KPL – Karnataka Premiere League that is starting soon.


For the Tamil film ‘Veera Dheera Shooran’ he plays villain and sporting beard is because of this film. They wanted a beard and I went in for natural beard. The team of Tamil film ‘Veera Dheera Shooran’ Shanker Dayal director is quite happy. Vishnu and Vishal plus Catherine are my co stars in the first Tamil film.

Of course my statement that I would move to foreign country and give up acting was stalled. I still maintain my ‘Structural Engineering’ and there was very good offer of residential houses construction in USA. At this point of time I got an offer in Tamil film and again it moved to another connection in Hindi.

The team of ‘Ashwini Nakshatra’ has managed to work with this beard for some time. I work for six days in a month of this hugely popular television serial that has crossed 600 episodes says JK.


As of now going to gym, practicing cricket and working on the sets has become routine. The film ‘Kuchiku Kuchiku’ worked two years ago with great respect to late D Rajendra Babuji. He asked me to reduce weight from 90 plus to 70. I play a business tycoon in the film. I got to learn a lot from legendary Babuji.

Apparently a series of films of JK are lined up now. First to release is ‘Bengaluru 560 023’. Bilingual ‘Chandrika’ is ready. Next is ‘Kuchiku Kuchiku’, Care of Footpath – 2, ‘Maththomme Ssh’…..
